    2. A little too costumey for my taste. Beautiful building.
    3. Very pretty, but also a little costumey.
    4. The shoes & white socks give her ensemble an oriental feel. Her dress is a little wrinkly, needs ironing. Love the pin. Great backdrop.

Congratulations on your sharp eye, FaceHunter!

The gentleman in breeches, M.M.deC., is an expert on the history and minutia of gentlemen’s clothing, as well as being always being fabulously dressed himself.

The glamorous young lady in the cafe, Miss S.S., is an immensely stylish and talented portrait painter.

  26. BloodieMary says:

The second and third pictures, it’s a couple isn’t it, Yvan ? They are figures of the Marais…

The expert on the history and minutia of gentlemen’s clothing looks like he should….

But it’s not style, it’s costume.

Everyone thinks they’re an expert nowadays. What i like to see is people who think outside of the box.

This outfit is still in its costume ‘box’.
