those sculptural shoes are INSANE!!!
Kisses from POrtugal!
Love #1, but how does she fit in that tiny taxi?!
love #1—- she looks stunning.
all the shoes are crazy!psychoshoes!
marvin & quetzal stuff almost in every picture. boring…
Love the style, but you shoot the same type of people where ever you go. It get’s kind of predictable (sorry!!).
oh the first picture has got such a great feeling about it!
i want that last girls dress!its beautiful :D
one of my favorite posts and OBVIOUSLY one of my all time favorite blogs.
The last girl is Denise, the lead singer from the Mexican pop band Belanova. She has great personal style and in fact, studied fashion in college.
While I could comment that you are only portraying the privileged side of mexico city, I think that it is a side not documented frequently and a nice break from the usual stereotypical travel-blog pictures of the under-privileged side. But, couldn’t there be a balance? Kind of like how the sartorialist found style in different social classes on his trip to india?
all girls have funky shoes!!!! love them.
Amazing shoes!!Anybody know where sell those shoes?I love it!!
u have a great eye…i love the yellow shoes!

the dress in the last look is SICK! love the seaming and double layers. a little much with the necklace, but she has a great outfit going on.
1, 3 and 4 are goooooood.

I love Mexico.

Who is that guy anyway?
The one with the hair.
Super photos !!!
Sweet sick pictures, as always. But oooh Yvan, why must you be so skinny-centric?
a very neat series of photos and styles. beautiful pic, #4, fun shoes.
ok..for my opinion those people, exspecially the girls look like they are in a fancy magazin shoot..very skinny and very perfect.I like it more when I see you capture normal people on the streets.
J’ai découvert ce blog grace à l’emission Chic sur Arte… et il est GENIAL !!!!! Venez faire un petit tour à Bordeaux…
I love the first picture! Not only is the outfit cute and the shoes to die for, but I love the yellow wall/green car contrast!
awesome shoeas they have in that mexico!
The composition of 4 and 6 are absolutely stunning! The photography is too sharp in this series of pictures. Anonyme 8:07PM makes a good point, but then again I’m not sure how restricted your movements or travels are given the Face Hunter TV event you are trying to kick start there. If you could venture out, that would be great, but thus far, I’m enjoying what I’m seeing. I have seen a few of these faces in this set of pictures in previous ones you’ve taken in Mexico. I hope the stylish denizens of this city aren’t a minute few. Either way, can’t wait for more to come!
first picture is great! The girl might be a model!
L0ve dress #4.
Une série un peu plus c0l0rée et des vêtements m0ins hivernaux, ça sent l’été….miAm.
Make the boy in the striped sweater and the adorable hair marry me, please?
COME TO TEL AVIV!!! (ISRAEL)
Best series yet!!!
wow! a great set
First girl: Great hair, great legs! Last girl: Adorably put together.
mexico is so exciting – such beauties!
oooh la la those girls know good shoes
Can people really walk in those shoes!? Amazing but terrifying :o)
that girl in the (5th) picture with the butt kicking matchin blouse and t-straps high heels sure looks 99% alike Paola Hernandez, a rising super star, Go mexico!!! –http://www.paolahernandez.com/eng.html
Oh Yvan! I’m mexican, so… while the pictures are really cool, even though that it looks like you did a photoshoot for Marvin & Quetzal clothes, models included (which I totally understand because they’re the best thing in Mexico right now…), I think that they were a little cliché… the green, beaten up taxis? the aztec calendar anyone?
